So I spent a lot of the class trying to get a border to simply work but anyway I started working on an app that allows a list to be deleted. I think I need to read up on data roles though because my lists are not working properly. I found a few links,
one of which talked specifically about lists on mobile devices. It seems really weird and I think I have been implementing my lists wrong but this website has a lot of examples.
I want to provide you with more support for this part of the project, but I'll need a bit of time to get that done. My Fall grad class ends 12/4, after which I'll be focusing on web programming in the Spring.
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you complete a thorough study of jQuery mobile, and I'll investigate hooking the UI into cordova. You've done a great job with your investigation. We can now see that Ubuntu mobile is built on currently existing open tools (jQuery mobile and Apache Cordova). That makes sense. Canonical is a latecomer to the mobile game, and the only way for a small company to make headway against bigger, better funded competitors is to leverage the collaborative energy of the free software community. That also means that instead of learning some vendor specific set of tools, we get to learn generally available cross platform resources. I like that.
